Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation with Terry Fox:
Come join us to experience how meditation nurtures self-discovery and restores a sense of calm, ease and well-being. You will be guided through the five essential practices of body scan, sitting, movement, walking and compassion meditation. We will also explore mindfulness through exercises to bring fuller awareness to simple daily activities.
Many students ask for a follow-up meditation experience that allows them to reconnect with the learnings from our introductory series. In these 75-minute sessions, Terry will invite the class to settle into savasana and be guided through three meditations to nourish your body with breath awareness, access innate wisdom with deep listening and heal the heart with compassion. An optional brief discussion follows.
